Radio Veritas anchor Fr. Larry Faraon passes away

MANILA, Philippines — Church-run Radio Veritas’ anchor Fr. Larry Faraon passed away Sunday due to pneumonia.

He was 64.

“Namaalam na ang Radio Veritas anchor at dating station manager nitong ika-26 ng Hulyo sa ganap na alas-3:06 ng umaga dahil sa Pneumonia,” the Catholic radio station said in a Facebook post.

Faraon, of the Dominican order, started as an anchor of Radio Veritas in the ‘80s.

He hosted Sunday radio program “Healing Touch.” He was also a gospel columnist for broadsheet The Daily Tribune.
