Heavy traffic expected along QC Elliptical Road
MANILA, Philippines — Commuters are advised to brace for heavy traffic in Quezon City next week, as the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced traffic adjustments along Elliptical Road to give way to the ongoing construction of the Metro Rail Transit 7 project.
Starting on July 28, the three curved lanes along Elliptical Road corner Commonwealth going to North and Visayas Avenues will be transferred to the inner lanes.
On July 31, the construction fence at the side of the Quezon Memorial Circle will be moved toward the middle lanes, and the construction fence at North Avenue will likewise be pushed back.
