A manager in the administrative department of a university in Japan was caught in the act of printing illicit images right in the office.

The unidentified staff member from the University of Kitakyushu was said to be in his 60s. After admitting his offense, he was let off with a warning, as per the Mainichi Shimbun via SoraNews24 yesterday, July 23.

The man had been opening erotic sites using his work PC since July 11. Since then, he would occasionally check out porn sites, grab his favorite images and print them on an A4 paper using the school’s printer.

From July 11 to 17, the man cumulatively spent five hours browsing porn sites, as per the report. He had since printed 73 images and kept them in an envelope hidden on a shelf under his desk.

A colleague spotted him printing another illicit image and reported him to their superiors. The manager confessed to his wrongdoings and explained his actions.

“I printed them because I wanted to retain the deliverables,” he was quoted as saying.

The university vowed to toughen up its internet security measures to prevent the misbehavior from happening again, according to the report. It plans to install software to block particular websites from the university, including porn sites. Cha Lino /ra
