Zambales resident contracts COVID-19 from Manila worksite

SAN ANTONIO, ZAMBALES –– A resident of Subic town became the latest case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Zambales after he contracted the virus from his worksite in Metro Manila.

Subic Mayor Jonathan Khonghun said the new case brought to 40 the total tally in Zambales.

The patient began his 14-day quarantine since he returned home on July 13. He was swabbed for the COVID-19 test on Monday after experiencing some symptoms of the disease.

The province has five active COVID-19 cases.
