5 busted in Camarines Sur, Albay stings
LEGAZPI CITY –– Five suspected drug pushers were arrested by police operatives in separate operations in Camarines Sur and Albay provinces.
Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police, said that in Camarines Sur, Ivin Quinones, Jason Elopre, and Rannie Gidoc, were on board a motorcycle when flagged down by policemen around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday for curfew violation in Barangay San Roque, Calabanga town.
Policemen instead recovered three sachets of shabu (crystal meth) from them.
In Iriga City, Errol Sarza, a high-value target drug pusher, was caught selling shabu in Barangay San Miguel around 6 p.m. Monday.
Recovered from him were three sachets of shabu weighing eight grams worth P5,000.
In Albay, Bienvenido Ecal was collared after selling shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Poblacion, Rapu-rapu town at 11:50 p.m. on Monday.
