ITCZ seen to bring rainshowers in MIMAROPA, Visayas, parts of Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines — The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is seen to bring rainshowers in the Visayas region as well as parts of Luzon and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported Friday.

The state weather bureau said the ITCZ will continue to bring cloudy skies with rainshowers in Visayas as well as MIMAROPA, Caraga and Northern Mindanao.

Pagasa said flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country—including Metro Manila—will experience partly cloudy to cloudy weather with isolated rainshowers.

Pagasa also said that partly cloudy to cloudy weather is expected in Metro Manila in the next three days, with low chances of rain in the morning and noon but rainshowers are possible in the afternoon and evening.
