Work at SC suspended from July 20-22 for building, office disinfection
MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court is suspending work from July 20 to 22 for the disinfection and sanitation of its buildings and offices amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In a memorandum circular signed by Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta, the disinfection of the buildings and offices of the Supreme Court will begin on July 18, Saturday, until July 22, Wednesday.
“There will be a suspension of work from July 20-22, 2020. Thus, the repeat Rapid Anti-Body Testing to all Justices, officials, employees and service providers will resume on Thursday, July 23, 2020,” the memorandum circular states.

The memo states that only on-duty personnel of various offices such as the Office of the Bar Confidant; Cash Collection and Disbursement Division; Medical Services; Security Division; and Maintenance Division will be authorized to report for work on July 20 to 22.
The memo likewise states that the signing of the Roll of Attorneys for 2019 Bar Passers will continue, as scheduled.
“A more thorough disinfection, cleaning, and sanitation of the different buildings and offices of the Supreme Court is hereby ordered to be undertaken to minimize the possible spread of infection,” the memo states. [ac]
