Suspected drug pusher dead in Laguna sting
SAN PEDRO CITY –– A suspected drug pusher was killed in a buy-bust operation in Biñan City, Laguna, Wednesday.
The suspect was identified as Heber Jeddy Surio.
The Calabarzon police said in a report that during a buy-bust operation around 12:15 a.m. in Barangay Canlalay, Surio fired at an undercover police officer but missed when he realized the sting operation. Another policeman returned fire and hit Surio.

The police rushed Surio to the Biñan Doctors’ Hospital but he was dead on arrival.
Police recovered a .45 caliber gun and seven sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth).
