Did You Know: 3,648 information economy establishments recorded in 2017

According to the 2017 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) survey recently released by the Philippine Statistics Authority, there were 3,648 information economy (IE) establishments under the core ICT industries during the survey period.

IE are businesses which use ICT for the collection, storage, processing and transmission of information intensively. The same survey showed that there were 394,863 IE employees during the survey period.
