Drug personality slain in Naga City

LEGAZPI CITY — A suspected drug pusher was killed in a buy-bust operation in Naga City in Camarines Sur province on Saturday.

Police Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Rodel Llona, a resident of Gainza town, also in Camarines Sur, drew his gun and fired at the operatives after sensing that he was transacting with an undercover policeman in Barangay (village) Pacol at around 4:35 p.m.

This prompted other operatives to retaliate, killing Llona on the spot.

Recovered from the suspect were 25 grams of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P50,000.

Llona was tagged as the top four drug personality in the watch list of the city police.
