“The arrest warrants against the three cadets of the Philippine Military Academy involved in the killing of Cadet Fourth Class Darwin Dormitorio have been served,” AFP spokesperson Maj. Gen. Edgard Arevalo said in a statement on Friday.

Cadets Third Class Felix Lumbag Jr., Shalimar Imperial Jr. and Julius Carlo Tadena, the primary suspects in Dormitorio’s death last September, who had been detained at the PMA, were transferred to Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City on Jan.17 this year.

Judge Maria Ligaya Itliong-Rivera of Baguio Regional Trial Court Branch 5 issued an arrest warrant against the three cadets on July 7 for the hazing death of Dormitorio. No bail was recommended for the three cadets. —Nestor Corrales
