P22,500 in meth seized, 2 suspects caught in CamSur anti-drug operations

LEGAZPI CITY—Two drug suspects were arrested in separate operations in the town of Baao, Camarines Sur province on Thursday (July 9).

At least P22,500 in shabu, or crystal meth, were seized.

Col. Roderico Roy Jr., Camarines Sur police chief, said in a report that Domingo Magistrado was arrested at the village of Buluang in possession of four grams of meth worth P20,000 and drug use tools.

About an hour after Magistrado’s arrest, another suspect, Alexander Bolalin, was arrested at the same village and yielded some P2,500 in meth.

Roy said the two were on the police’s drug watch list.
