DFA: Alabang consular office now open; Aseana branch reopening on Wednesday
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reopened its consular office in Alabang, Muntinlupa City on Tuesday while its Office of Consular Affairs at Aseana City in Parañaque City is set to resume operations by Wednesday, DFA Undersecretary Brigido Dulay said.
Both consular offices were closed over the weekend for disinfection measures after some employees tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
“We are happy to report na yung Alabang namin is already operational today dahil tinapos lang po namin yung disinfection. Nagkaroon po kami ng contact tracing,” Dulay said Tuesday in a televised briefing.
