PNP’s COVID-19 cases rise to 905

MANILA, Philippines — Three more police officers have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total number of viral infections within the national police force to 905.

The PNP added in a social media post on Monday that four patients recently recovered from the viral respiratory infection, as the number of recoveries rose to 418.  Nine other infected officers have died.

Three of the latest patients are assigned in Metro Manila.

The PNP also documented 684 probable cases and 1,238 suspected cases within its ranks.
