Taguig City launches telemedicine for pets
MANILA, Philippines — Taguig City has officially launched a hotline for Taguig residents who would need consultation and veterinary services for their pets.
On Friday, the city government opened its Vet Telemedicine hotlines, a counterpart of the city’s Telemedicine, a platform that allows online and mobile medical consultations for sickly individuals.
Vet Telemedicine connects “fur” parents and veterinarians committed to provide consultation through mobile phones.
“This makes it easy for pet owners to consult specialists in the comforts of their home amidst the ongoing enhanced community quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” the city government said.
The Vet Telemedicine can be reached at 02-86971969 or 0977-6909069. It is open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
