2 returnees test positive for COVID-19 in Palawan town
PUERTO PRINCESA CITY — Two stranded returnees in Roxas town are the latest confirmed COVID-19 cases in Palawan province.
The Roxas municipal government, in an announcement made on Facebook early Sunday, said the patients include a 24-year-old female and a 31-year-old male returnees in this northern town.
Roxas became the 7th town to join the areas in Palawan with confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The Palawan province, including Puerto Princesa City, now has a total of 44 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 10 recoveries, one casualty, and 33 active cases, as of 10 a.m., Sunday (July 5).
Of the active cases, 16 are in Puerto Princesa, six in Bataraza, two in Cuyo, one in Taytay, and three each for Sofronio Española and Busuanga, and the recently added two active cases in Roxas.
