Lone suspect yields P1.3M in meth in Naga City buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY—The arrest of a lone drug pusher yielded P1,360,000 worth of shabu, or crystal meth, during a buy-bust operation in Naga City.

MSgt. Tobias Bongon, spokesperson of the Naga City police, said Vincent Briones, 30, was arrested during the operation at the village of Tabuco in Naga past 7 p.m. on Thursday (July 2).

Authorities said they seized some 200 grams of meth from Briones which was estimated to be worth P1,360,000.

Bongon said Briones was No. 8 on the police’s drug watch list.
