‘Guardian’ killed in Consolacion

A 34-year-old habal-habal driver was shot dead by an unidentified assailant  in barangay Poblacion Occidental, Consolacion town, northern Cebu, last Monday evening.

Police said the motive in Aaron Yap’s murder has not been established yet.

Police said a personal grudge is one of the motives being looked in as Yap, a member of the Guardians Brotherhood, had given some information to the police about illegal activities.

Police Yap parked his motorcycle in front of Fixman Shoes and Bags Repair Shop when an unidentified man arrived and shot him in the back of the head.
