Quezon logs 2 new COVID-cases, 3 recoveries
LUCENA CITY –– Quezon province has two new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases and three recovered patients, authorities reported on Thursday.
In its 5 p.m. bulletin on Wednesday, the Quezon public information office (QPIO), quoting the latest data from the Integrated Provincial Health Office, reported that Lucena City has a new confirmed case, while San Antonio and Pagbilao towns have recorded one recovered patient each.
Ma. Janet Geneblazo, QPIO chief, said another new COVID-19 patient has been recorded in Tiaong town.
Geneblazo also reported the recovery of a COVID-19 patient from the island town of Alabat.
Quezon has 162 COVID-19 cases, of which 130 have recovered and 11 have died. The province has 21 remaining active virus carriers as of Thursday morning.
