Naga City’s 2 new COVID-19 patients are construction workers

NAGA CITY –– Two new patients with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were recorded in this city on Tuesday morning, bringing the total number of cases to 22.

A report from the Department of Health (DOH) in Bicol said Bicol#111 and #112 had close contact with Bicol#91 and #92, who arrived from Naic town, Cavite on June 14 and tested positive for the virus on June 25.

The DOH said both Bicol#111 and #112 were construction workers at the residence of Bicol #91 and #92 in Barangay Concepcion Pequena.

The health department said both patients were asymptomatic and quarantined.

They were among the 13 COVID-19 patients in the city who worked as laborers at the residence of Bicol#91 and #92.

Meanwhile, Naga City mayor Nelson Legacion said the lockdown in the said village continued until further notice.
