MANILA, Philippines — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake rocked Davao Occidental on Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its initial earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the temblor hit 304 kilometers (km) southeast of Sarangani, Davao Occidental, at 1:55 p.m.
It had a depth of 33 km and was tectonic in origin.
No aftershocks nor damage could be expected from the tremor, Phivolcs said.
