Army probes equipment torching in S. Cotabato
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Army has ordered a “thorough” investigation into the torching of heavy equipment of a construction firm in South Cotabato province on Monday.
Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, commander of the Army’s Western Mindanao Command, said intelligence operatives were looking into those behind the burning of P20 million-worth of heavy equipment owned by Gemma Construction Company.
