SAN PEDRO CITY –– A fire broke out in a furniture factory in this city in Laguna province early on Saturday.
The fire started around 6:30 a.m. at Designs Ligna Inc., a furniture manufacturing company, in Barangay San Antonio.
The fire had reached the third alarm before it was put under control at 1 p.m., said Fire Officer 1 Maria Eliza Querobines of the city fire station.
She said no one was so far reported hurt in the incident.
Fire investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
