MANILA, Philippines – Eleven persons were injured when the minibus they rode lost control and turned turtle in Bataan Monday afternoon, police said Tuesday.
“The Bataan-bound minibus was carrying 30 passengers. Initial investigation showed that the driver lost control of the minibus while descending a curved road. It turned turtle and 11 passengers were hurt,” said Senior Superintendent Arnold Gunnacao, Bataan police director.
He said that investigation was still being conducted to determine the cause of the accident in Bagac town.
The Bataan police director said that all 11 injured passengers were rushed to Bagac Medical Center and were “transferred to the Bataan General Hospital.”
Gunnacao however, could not provide a list of the names of the wounded.
