Only one DOJ employee tests positive for virus

MANILA, Philippines — Only one out of the 72 Department of Justice (DOJ) employees who tested positive in the rapid test was confirmed positive for the new coronavirus in the swab test.

The virus-positive employee does not work in the DOJ main office in Ermita, Manila, but is assigned to a field office, according to Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra.

The employee is reportedly asymptomatic.
