Manila curfew hours now from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

MANILA, Philippines — The curfew in Manila has been shortened from the previous 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The new curfew is mandated through City Ordinance No. 8647, which was signed by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.

Similarly, Quezon City also shortened its curfew hours, exempting those who are out on work-related or emergency trips and those on the way to the airport to catch scheduled flights.

Manila also allowed restaurants in the area to offer dine-in services, though only at 30 percent capacity, in line with the guidelines of the Department of Trade and Industry.

As of Tuesday, Manila has 1,854 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, with 577 recoveries and 110 deaths.
