Partly cloudy skies and rains still in Palawan, Mindanao due to ITCZ — Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines – Areas in Palawan and Mindanao are seen to experience partly cloudy skies with occasional rains due to the prevailing intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), state meteorologists said on Tuesday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in their latest forecast that areas in Central Mindanao, in the Davao Region and the Caraga would see rains on Wednesday due to the said weather system.
As for the rest of Luzon and Visayas, generally fair weather with partly cloudy skies and localized thunderstorms may be expected. Rains are more likely to occur by afternoon or night, Pagasa added.
Temperatures in Metro Manila are expected to play from 25 to 34 degrees Celsius, slightly higher compared to the previous days’ temperature when rains were recorded.
In Iloilo and Cebu, it is expected to range around 26 to 32 degrees and 25 to 32 degrees in Davao.
No gale warning has been raised as of now, which means that fisherfolk using small boats are allowed to set sail. Sea conditions all over the country will be slight to moderate, according to Pagasa.
