Illegal drugs worth P17M seized in Navotas and Caloocan

MANILA, Philippines — Over P17 million worth of illegal drugs were seized while 10 suspects were arrested in two separate drug bust operations in the cities of Navotas and Caloocan.

Caloocan police confiscated 2.5 kilograms of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P16.6 million on Friday evening in Barangay 188, Tala, Caloocan, from suspects identified as Abedin Salahudin, Jamal Mustapha, Ashinaya Dismomimba and Misaly Mistopha.

Another 210 grams of shabu worth P1.4 million were seized in a drug operation in Barangay NBB South, Navotas, on Friday evening from suspects identified as Tlasporo Acain, Francis Ocinar, Mark Gerard Zamora, Mario Lagahit, Randy Oliveron and Regine Cruz.

Twenty-two pieces of plastic sachets containing what appeared to be shabu were confiscated.
