Retired cop dead in Quezon motorcycle-truck collision
LUCENA CITY –– A retired policeman was killed after his motorcycle collided with a cargo truck along the Maharlika Highway in Calauag, Quezon on Friday.
Calauag police reported that Reynaldo Faulve, 53, was traversing the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Sta. Maria around 5:45 p.m. aboard his motorcycle, when he collided with an oncoming truck driven by Marvin Delgado. The report said Faulve was a retired police officer but gave no added details.
Police said Faulve occupied the opposite lane due to heavy rain and slippery road.

The report said Faulve suffered serious head injuries and died on the way to the hospital, but did not clarify if the victim had a crash helmet.
