Cabanatuan anti-drug operations net 11 suspects
CABANATUAN CITY—Eleven people were arrested in two successive anti-illegal drugs operations in this city on Tuesday (June 11), police said.
Lt. Arnel Dial, city police chief, said three of the suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation at the village of Bantug Bulalo here at 2:30 p.m. They were identified as Relita Mana, Glenn Fuentebella and Rico Fajardo.
The eight other suspects were arrested in another buy-bust operation by the Talavera police station at the village of Mayapyap Sur here at 6:30 p.m., Dial said.
The eight suspects were identified as Jayson Binuya, Patrick Cruz, Julius Alvaran, Alden Del Rosario, Roland Velasquez, Jonathan Binuya, Arjay Agarin, and Mark Alvin Cruz, all residents of this city.
Dial said a police undercover agent managed to buy a sachet of shabu, or crystal meth, from Binuya. The other suspects were caught while in a pot session.
The suspects will be charged.
