Returning from Cebu City, 7 in Bohol town found with coronavirus antibodies
TAGBILARAN CITY—Seven of the 43 individuals who returned to a town in Bohol after being stranded in Cebu City tested positive for coronavirus antibodies on Tuesday (June 9) and have been tagged as probable patients.
On a Facebook post, the local government of Sagbayan said the seven persons—one woman and six men—were brought to government quarantine facilities for close monitoring.
“There is nothing to worry” the positive test results for the seven individuals, the Facebook post said.
“This is just an initial rapid diagnostic test and not yet confirmatory,” it said.
The seven would be subjected to another coronavirus test.
“Nothing to be alarmed of at this time,” the local government said.
