2 more House employees test positive for COVID-19
MANILA, Philippines — Two more employees of the House of Representatives have tested positive for the coronavirus disease, Secretary-General Jose Luis Montales confirmed Monday.
Montales said that the employees are spouses — one is assigned at the Printing Office and the other at the Engineering Department.
The employees last reported for work on May 28.
“Protocols for handling positive cases and their close contacts are being observed,” Montales said.
In March, an employee of the lower chamber died due to the disease.
