MANILA, Philippines — The city government of Manila will lift its liquor ban on Monday, June 8.
“In line with the policy of the national government to relax certain contingent measures, there is now a need to lift the alcohol/ liquor ban imposed in the city,” Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso said through Executive Order No. 2020-026.
Selling alcoholic drinks and beverages to minors and drinking in public places, however, remain prohibited.
Liquor ban was imposed in Manila on March 28 to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
