Manila cops tracking down COVID suspect who fled Delpan quarantine facility

MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Police District (MPD) on Tuesday said it is tracking down a possible coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patient who escaped from a quarantine facility in Del Pan, Manila.

MPD director Brig. Gen. Rolando Miranda said that a 25-year-old male escaped from the facility at around 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

Miranda added that a 19-year-old patient who likewise escaped has was tracked down and sent back to the quarantine facility.
