Fire in Mandaluyong’s Addition Hills now at 5th alarm
MANILA, Philippines – A fire in a residential area in Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City has been raised to the fifth alarm, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
According to a tweet from BFP’s official account, the fire at Block 37 of the said barangay started around Monday afternoon, and was raised to the second alarm by 5:39 p.m.
But just minutes after, it was raised to the third alarm, and eventually to the fifth by 5:50 p.m.
People on social media posted photos of the fire, which also damaged several electrical posts. A post from Fire Alert Metro Manila showed that fire raging near electric wirings from an old post.
