P500,000 in meth seized in 2 anti-drug operations in CamSur
LEGAZPI CITY—More than P500,000 in shabu (crystal meth) was seized on Thursday (May 28) from drug suspects in separate operations in two areas—Libmanan town and Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Sias Lyndon, 51, a farmer, and Ernesto Rocah, 54, a pedicab driver, were caught selling shabu in Libmanan during an operation, according to Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.
Seized during the Libmanan drug sting was 50 grams in meth worth some P340,000, according to Calubaquib.
In Naga City, Rudel Bal, 33, of the village of Dayangdang, and Joan Elaine Buenaobra, of San Felipe village, were caught selling P25,000 in meth to undercover agents at the village of Cararayan past 5 p.m., according to MSgt. Tobias Bangon, Naga City police spokesperson.
More meth was recovered from the suspects worth some P170,000, said Bangon.
The suspects had been detained and would be charged.
