Man gunned down in San Nicolas

An unidentified man was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding assailants in barangay San Nicolas, Cebu City, last Friday night.

The victim suffered two gunshot wounds in the head.

Police said the man was walking along a road when he was attacked. Two empty shells and deformed slug of a .45 pistol were recovered in the crime scene.

The victim, who had several tattoos on his body, wore a black T-shirt and  cargo shorts.

Police said a background check will be conducted once the fatality is identified.

There were people in the area when the attack occurred but no one was willing to testify, said police./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
