MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.1 earthquake shook Antique on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The tremor struck 7:30 p.m., 21 kilometers southeast of Anini-y town, at Reported Intensity III, according to Phivolcs.
State seismologists said the temblor was of tectonic origin with a depth of focus at three kilometers.
Phivolcs said no further aftershock or damage may be expected from the quake.
