Did You Know: Private education sector had 387,155 workers in 2016

According to the final results of the 2016 Annual Survey of the Philippine Business and Industry recently released by the Philippine Statistics Authority, there were 387,155 employees in the private education sector.

The top three industries in terms of employment were private higher education (45.8 percent), private general secondary education (24.9 percent) and private primary/elementary education for children without special needs (12.1 percent).
