MANILA, Philippines — Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) will mount next week two separate flights to Los Angeles and San Francisco, California, to bring home American citizens stranded in the Philippines.

The US Embassy in Manila said on its social media pages that the “user-pay” flights would leave for Los Angeles on May 21 and San Francisco on May 26. The deadline to register for the US-bound flights is at 11:59 p.m. on May 18.

Tickets for the US-bound flights cost $1,200 plus taxes and fees. PAL said there would also be sweeper flights from Cebu and Davao on May 21 and from Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Siargao and Tagbilaran on May 26. Tickets for the sweeper flights cost $200 plus taxes and fees.
