Gamboa names new PNP Training Director
MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Archie Gamboa has appointed a new director of the police force’s Training Service, which implements field training courses for police personnel.
PNP spokesman Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac said in a statement on Friday that Gamboa designated the post to Police Brig. Gen. Alex Sintin, who is the former deputy director of the Directorate for Information and Communications Technology Management (DICTM).
Sintin will be replaced by Police Brig. Gen. Daniel Mayoni.
Gamboa also appointed Police Colonel Honorio Agnila, former Deputy Chief, Public Information Office appointed as the new Acting Executive Officer of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations in Eastern Mindanao and Police Col. John Mitchell Valencia Jamili as new Acting Executive Officer of DICTM.
The latest reorganization of posts in the PNP was brought by the mandatory retirement of some senior officials, Banac said.
