/ 08:04 AM May 05, 2020

MANILA, Philippines — It will be another hot and humid day today with episodes of cloudy skies nationwide, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In Pagasa’s 4a.m. update on Tuesday,  weather specialist Samuel Duran said  Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies and hot and humid weather.

Meanwhile, Palawan will have cloudy skies with rain showers and isolated thunderstorms due to the easterlies or warm wind fro the Pacific Ocean.

Visayas and Mindanao will also have hot and humid weather, according to Duran.

“Dahil wala na po tayong inaasahang malawakang pag-ulan, ang ine-expect po natin magpapatuloy na ‘yung mainit at maalinsangang panahon na may mga tsansa ng thunderstorms pagdating ng hapon o gabi,” he said.

(Since we are not expecting widespread rains, we can expect  hot and humid weather with chances of thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.)

No gale warning has been raised by the weather bureau.

“Banayad hanggang sa katamtaman ang pag-alon ng karagatan (The coastal waters  will be light to moderate),” added Duran.
