Quezon has 1 new COVID-19 patient, 1 recovered
LUCENA CITY –– Quezon province recorded a new case of confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) carrier and another recovered patient on Saturday.
In its May 2 noon report, the Quezon Public Information Office (QPIO), said another validated virus COVID-19 carrier was traced to Lucena City.
With the latest report, Lucena has recorded a total of 28 COVID-19 cases but five patients have recovered, thus, reducing its active virus carriers to 23.
The QPIO also said another former COVID-19 patient has recuperated, bringing the list of recovered patients to 13, an increase of one from Friday’s 12.
The confirmed coronavirus carriers in the province rose to 67.
But with the recovery of 13 patients and the death of seven others, the number of active COVID-19 carriers in the province is down to 47.

Quezon, considered high risk or “red” province, will remain under enhanced community quarantine until May 15.
