Did You Know: 25th death anniversary of Wilfrido Ma. Guerrero
Today, April 28, is the 25th death anniversary of National Artist for Theater Wilfrido Ma. Guerrero.
A playwright, actor, director, and teacher, he taught at the University of the Philippines (UP) for over 30 years and founded the UP Mobile Theater.
The theater in Palma Hall in the state university was later named after him even while he was alive.

Guerrero was born in Manila on Jan. 22, 1910. He died in 1995 and was declared a National Artist in 1997.
