7,777 people in PH have COVID-19; 932 recover
MANILA, Philippines — The novel coronavirus or SARS-CoV-2 has so far infected 7,777 individuals in the Philippines, with 198 new confirmed cases recorded by the Department of Health (DOH) on Monday.
The virus has also claimed the lives of 511 patients as the DOH reports 10 more deaths.
However, 70 new individuals were able to beat the disease, bringing the total of recoveries to 932.
COVID-19 has so far infected 2.9 million people across the globe, killing over 206,000.
However, more than 868,000 were able to recover from the disease, according to the Johns Hopkins University coronavirus board.
