MANILA, Philippines — The Ateneo de Davao University is lending Apple iPad units to its student-scholars to help them have access to online classes.

“We hope to deliver the remaining 145 iPads with pencils within the week,” he said.

Summer classes for higher education at the university started on April 20.

Aside from iPad units, the university is also providing home WiFi devices to its students to help them attend classes online.

The online classes at the university come after community quarantine was enforced in several areas in the country due to the crisis brought by the coronavirus disease pandemic.
