MANILA, Philippines — The number of confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Quezon City remained at 1,104 as the local government recorded zero new case on Saturday, April 25.
“Ayon sa Department of Health, walang bagong naitalang kaso ng #COVID19PH sa Quezon City ngayong araw. 1104 pa rin ang bilang ng nagpositibong kaso ng COVID-19 sa lungsod,” the city government said in a Facebook post.
(According to the Department of Health, no new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Quezon City this Saturday. The number of cases remains at 1,104.)
So far, 960 of the confirmed cases have complete addresses in the city, while the local epidemiology and disease surveillance unit was able to verify 825 cases.
The city’s death toll, meanwhile, climbed to 118, with 12 new deaths recorded as of 11 p.m. Saturday, while nine more patients recovered from the disease, bringing the total of recoveries to 142.
Barangay Batasan Hills posted the most number of COVID-19 cases, with 46 confirmed cases, with seven deaths and six recoveries.
The city government said the number of confirmed cases is still subject to change due to the ongoing community-based testing in the city.
To date, the Philippines has a total of 7,294 individuals confirmed to have the COVID-19, of which 494 have died while 792 have recovered. #
