Police diffused 2 improvised bombs in Cotabato City
MANILA, Philippines—Authorities recovered and diffused two improvised bombs in Cotabato City Wednesday.
Citing a report from the regional director of Region 12 police, Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., spokesman of the Philippine National Police, said that two M49 A2 60 millimeter mortar rounds were safely recovered by police at around 9:20 a.m.
The improvised explosive devices were in the custody of the Joint Task Force Kutawato, he said.
