Nograles weeps for frontliners on online ‘Wowowin’
MANILA, Philippines — Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles could not help but cry for the frontliners when he was a guest at Willie Revillame’s online show “Tutok To Win sa Wowowin.”
A weeping Nograles was seen after a video of frontliners, including health workers and law enforcers keeping a distance from their families as they join the battle against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), was shown.
Mahirap talaga. Lahat naman tayo may pinagdadaanan. Ginagawa natin ang lahat,” Nograles said during the show aired Tuesday night.
(That’s what the frontliners are facing every day. That’s what they face. It’s really hard. Everyone is going through something. We’re doing everything.)
He also mentioned the police whose jobs also put them in danger, but are instead being “considered as an enemy.”

Lahat yan may anak.
(They are doing this for the sake of everyone. But they have families, they have children. The threat to their lives and their safety are their sacrifices for us.)
On his Twitter account, Nograles apologized for not being able to hold his tears.
(To those who watched Tutok to Win of Wowowin a while ago, I apologize that I was not able to hold back tears when Wil and I watched the situation of our frontliners.)

#WeHealAsOne,” he added.
(It may be sad but this will serve as inspiration for us in the government to improve our work and for us to surpass this pandemic together, without anyone left behind.)
