MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.7 earthquake rocked Tarlac on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The earthquake struck at 2:41 p.m. at two kilometers northwest of Tarlac City.
The tremor was of tectonic origin, and had a 13-kilometer depth of focus.
Phivolcs said that the earthquake was felt in other areas at various intensities:
Instrumental Intensity II – Palayan City, Nueva Ecija
Instrumental Intensity I – San Jose, Nueva Ecija
No aftershocks and damage were expected, Phivolcs added.
